Expanding the school as part of a £1.7 million ($2.63 million) project for Milton Keynes Council, the renovation project has now completed the construction of the school’s new teaching and learning block, a key part of the school’s upgrade and expansion.

Providing pupils and teachers with much improved facilities, the new block includes six new classrooms and a sixth form common room. Apart from that the building also includes a platform lift and accessible bathrooms to provide improved access to students and teachers with disabilities.

Apart from that the refurbishing project will also renovate existing elements of the school. It will expand the corridors, redecorate the classrooms, and build a new primary play area for pupils.

The project is now a third of the way through these wider refurbishment works to update the school and this part of the project is due to complete in the summer of 2013.
