The building covering an area of 5,304 square feet has been redesigned by ViF LLC and built by Mokulua Woodworking. The new building incorporates several sustainable features such as use of recycled materials across the entire office to build workplace surfaces. It includes use of over 50 reclaimed doors as well as green flooring with 87% reclaimed carpet. Further, the interior walls of the executive offices’ are equipped with single-hung windows recycled from Re-use Hawaii which enables light circulation into the main office spaces.

Other green features of the facility include use of low Volatile Organic Compound paints and installation of three walls of windows. These windows allow maximum passage of natural light while creating an open feel as well as allowing glimpses of the surroundings. The structure also houses an informal café and stage in an area which is considered to provide the best views of the encompassing landscape.
