NexCore has incorporated the wellness centre into the existing 61,077 square foot medical office building on Rex’s Knightdale satellite campus.
The wellness centre includes three pools (lap, therapy and spa), steam/sauna/whirlpool room, large indoor track, group exercise and private personal training studios, and state-of-the-art cardiovascular and weight training exercise equipment. It also has a child activity area.
The wellness centre is housed on the third floor of the medical office building as well as in the one-storey, 14,600 square foot aquatic addition on the west side of the building.
With the addition of the wellness centre, the Rex Knightdale campus now offers family practice, internal medicine, pediatric, urgent care, wound care, surgery, sleep lab, on-site lab, imaging (basic radiology and digital mammography), gastroenterology, orthopedic, foot and ankle, pharmacy and wellness services.
The outpatient facility is the first of the three facilities that will be completed by NexCore in 2012.
