The 17,000 square feet store features the company’s archetype “Customer World” design in Port Hueneme, providing easy access with less cluttered aisles. It comes as a replacement to its store in 733 W. Channel Islands Blvd, which shut down last week.

With the pharmacy as the focus, the store features a customer centric design bringing in suggestions from customer focus groups to provide an easy and convenient shopping experience.

Wide aisles with visible department signs make it easier for customers to go through the store. The cosmetics and body care products department is located right in the center of the store.

Featuring a drive through service window, the pharmacy can be accessed from anywhere in the store. It also includes a waiting area located near to it, with an installed television and couches.

Furthermore, the store also provides a consultation room for customers to interact with their pharmacists in private. An expanded vitamin and specialty products department and an ice cream counter is also integrated within the store.

Rite Aid also features a ‘Picture Center’ catering to customers’ digital photography requirements.
