It will be a 320-room ocean front resort. It will offer several restaurants, a luxurious spa, two swimming pools and a 24-hour casino. In addition to spacious rooms and suites, the hotel will include the Ritz-Carlton Club Level, a private floor accessible only by elevator key, offering light fare and dedicated concierge service throughout the day. It is projected to open in late 2012.
Walter Stipa will be the developer for the Ritz-Carlton, Aruba. He said that this project will set a new standard for luxury travel to the island. Mike Eman, the newly elected Prime Minister, said that the government is looking at the addition of hotels as the Ritz Carlton.
