The award was presented at the Excel Exhibition center in London. David Osborne, managing director of Roman, received the award on behalf of the company. The company received the award for its Roman Shield wet room system, which was voted the ‘favorite product of the year’ by consumers.
It is a complete ready-to-use kit, which includes primer, tanking tape, tanking compound and outlet for drainage and a guide to install the setting. The kit also incorporates the Roman perforated shower floor installed with a tray attached to it. They can be directly installed and tiled to create a contemporary look.
KBB editors Jackie Daley and Marcus Brigstocke gave away the award. KBB Readers’ Design Award was an award from a group of across 17 categories.
