The two-level mall will feature a simple rectangular, racetrack layout, with nodes at the intersections to act as eight anchor stores. Its entrance will face the residential side of Mirdif, while the three-level car park will open towards the road.

The interior of the mall has been divided into a series of interconnecting rooms. The mall’s most significant feature is the main central galleria, which has been designed as an active urban street and town square.

The galleria progresses from the landscaped entrance through the heart of the mall, forming a series of interconnecting rooms with roof structures reaching up to 20 meters high. It will also feature a number of water features and tall palms giving it an indoor ‘oasis’ feel.

The garden area outside the mall’s main entrance has been designed to integrate with the indoor landscaping through the use of skylights and solar reflective glass. A number of plants that need limited water will also be installed around the property.

Mirdif City Centre has been designed to meet the requirements of the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) standards.
