Santoni partnered with Spanish architect Patricia Urquiola to bring the concept to life in the retail space and to highlight the brand’s design and quality in the store, as well as, the products.

Urquiola has enclosed the store’s space in a modular grid of geometric shapes. Throughout the two rooms, she used materials like polished walnut paneling and a geometric network of metal brass. The brass has been etched and brushed for extra tactility referencing to Santoni’s emphasis on craftsmanship. Bronzed glass also brings in warmth to the two different volumes – dedicated to men’s and women’s collections – as does polished walnut panelling.

The flagship boutique is also adorned with few bespoke pieces designed by Urquiola.

Santoni added that its future stores will be modelled on Urquiola concept.
