Demolishing the existing buildings at the site, the new state-of-the-art 7,200 square metre building will feature new teaching spaces, social learning spaces and a cafe.

Apart from that the development also includes space for the students union, enabling them to better support students on both campuses.

The new facility will be used mainly by students and staff from the University’s faculties of Development and Society, and Health and Wellbeing.

The development is scheduled to be completed by autumn 2014.
