The lounge has been designed to provide Virgin’s Upper Class passengers the relaxed luxury and feel of uptown Manhattan.
The architectural firm has designed the 10,000 square feet clubhouse in a manner that the full height two sides offer expansive views over the jetways and Virgin aircraft immediately below.
In the centre of the lounge, the cloud shaped cocktail bar is enclosed by a diaphanous, curving wall of stainless steel rods and walnut fins which mediates views from and through the space and creates a series of distinct spaces. The space is designed as the heart of the lounge, around and through which, guests can avail various luxurious amenities as they await their flight.
