With the opening of the Keraton at The Plaza, the global portfolio of Luxury Collection has reached 80. The new hotel is located at Jalan Thamrin, in Jakarta.

The hotel has 140 well-appointed guest rooms and suites, each reflecting the richness of Javanese luxury and have floor-to-ceiling windows and advanced in-room technology. The hotel will also offer the brand’s signature Luxury Collection Concierge services.

The design of the hotel is punctuated with vivid references to Indonesia’s geography and culture. Both the architecture of the hotel and its interior have references to Indonesian culture and this is reflected in the form of splashes of color, rich woods, and intricate Batik floral patterns throughout the hotel.

For the interior, the company roped in SCDA Singapore and BuregaFarnell Pte. Limited. The hotel’s interior is decorated with several artworks, which include an intricate mural of Javanese artwork at the porte-cochère and an abstract piece hand-carved from rick Mahogany wood and adorned with antique gold. The hotel also has a dedicated gallery, which has been curated by Hadiprana Artworks of Jakarta as well as local artists.

The hotel offers two options for food and beverage, which include Bengawan, which is located on the seventh floor of the hotel overlooking Jakarta; and the Keraton Lounge, located on the lobby level.
