Christian Dorn has designed the new furniture collection in wood, which is a departure from his previous creations in metal and marble. The collection includes an easy chair, and a table.
The new easy chair, dubbed ‘Soft,’ appears simple and timeless at first look. It features a soft shape with curved legs. Offering a levitating appearance, the design brings out the beauty of the furniture.
Another highlight of the new furniture of Christian Dorn is the global innovation BlattWERK, ecological leather available for the easy chair Soft. BlattWERK is tanned environmentally-friendly with olive leaves and protected from environmental impacts by bee wax. The leather has been procured exclusively from Leder-Fiedler.
Sweet, the new table of the Christian Dorn collection, is made from solid wood. It is available in all-natural as well as with a high-quality HPL-lamination. The table is designed to create a special atmosphere, as a solitaire as well as in an arrangement.
The new furniture from Christian Dorn will be displayed for the first time from 23-27 October 2012 at the ORGATEC trade fair in Cologne at Hall 10.1, booth E-042. It would be available from premium retailers and from the Stiltreu designstudio directly.
