The Minimania is available as a sconce or a table lamp. It consists of a small cylindrical shade, available in metal or blown glass, which rotates 360 degrees over its nickel or chrome metal frame. Perfect for bedside applications or versatile indirect lighting, the fixture uses one 75 watt GU10 twist-and-lock lamp, and comes with a wall plate that mounts to a standard 4-inch junction box.
Designed by Giulio Iacchetti for Studio Italia Design, the Buonanotte, which means ‘good night’ in English, is simply designed as a book rest and table lamp. The fixture’s metal frame is equipped with a sensor that turns the light on when book is lifted and turns it off when the book is rested on the frame. A switch is installed below the metal frame and activated through a hole in the frame. The flip of the switch automatically turns the light on and off and is activated by the touch of a finger or book.
