The new 60,000 square feet liberal arts building will feature technologically-enhanced classrooms, a dividable auditorium, faculty offices and a gathering space for community events. The building will develop southern campus amenities and augment the Drake Memorial Library functions.
SWBR is providing the overall project management, with sustainable exterior envelope development and detailing. The project is funded through the State University Construction Fund (SUCF), who will direct and manage the project from programming through construction.
The project is targeting for LEED Silver certification. The building is currently under construction and is expected to be completed by 2014.
