The renovation of the Swift and 2EM forms phase I of the Roundhouse at Beacon Falls renovation. The project involves conversion of the four existing mill buildings into hotel, luxury spa, indoor and outdoor restaurant and bar, and event space on Fishkill Creek. Construction of the scheme was undertaken by Robert A. McAlpine.

The scheme was designed in a way that it resonated the rich culture and heritage of the Hudson River Valley. The designer has used a collection of local, handcrafted materials into the design and has amalgamated these with the industrial setting of the place. The project was aimed at building these facilities to achieve LEED certification.

The dining room of the newly renovated Swift features floor-to-ceiling windows, which allows the guests to enjoy views of the waterfall, along side the locally inspired, seasonal menu, craft beer, and artisanal cocktails.

The 2EM lounge is located in The Roundhouse building and is adorned with the artworks from The Roundhouse Art Collection. The lounge has a fire feature, which adds to its beauty and allows guest to enjoy seasonal menu along with the panoramic views of the waterfall.
