This September Bolon launches its first ever 50x50cm tiles-only collection.
The company says that Riff is a floor tile collection with a pattern that, just like a riff, consists of repetitive and consistent moves – ‘strict and organic, busy in close-up, but with a calming rhythm’.
The new collection is said to highlight Bolon’s 3D effect through colours that set ‘vibrant tones to a neutral base scale in an all-over structure’. The nuances of the neutral bases – black, beige and grey – are selected because they can lift and make other colours pop. In total, Riff comes in 16 various colour combos.
‘When choosing tiles and installing them with a non-permanent solution, you get the most sustainable floor design. The installation makes it possible to repair, reuse, and ultimately recycle the floor. Riff is developed with this process in mind,’ says Klara Persson, design director at Bolon.
All Bolon flooring and rugs contain 68% waste material with 0% climate impact.
The collection is available worldwide from 11 September.
