Renaissance is designed as a sweeping glass structure, within a canyon of brick and concrete. The hotel’s design is inspired by the motion of the nearby rail yards, airport and highways. To capture the neighbourhood spirit, most of its fixtures, from the flooring to the ceiling, feature some sort of undulating ripple design in sea tones.
The full-service hotel features 17,354 square feet of event space. This includes a 10,000 square foot ballroom, and a 96-seat restaurant and bar called Socci that offers modern Italian cuisine.
The 325-room Residence Inn Arlington Capital View features a modish clubhouse, complete with library, glass-encased fireplace and 3,628 square feet of meeting space. It also features 2,500 square foot gym, through passageways connecting the hotels on the second and third floors. All rooms are equipped with flat-screen TV’s, granite countertops and kitchen appliances. The hotel also includes a modern Italian restaurant SOCCi.
