The deal includes a one-year base period, valued at $28m according to the current order level, and three one-year options. The contract includes fixed-price and time and materials components, Unisys said.

A big part of the deal is Unisys’ work on the military’s RFID network to provide an almost real-time picture of its worldwide supply chain. The company works with L-3 Communications and WFI Government Services on the RFID project.
