The pipeline full-service spa will be operated by Grove Spa, making it the second location for the brand in Springfield. The spa will occupy space in the main floor of the hotel and will be a 1,100 square feet facility.
The interiors of the self-contained spa is likely to be adorned with a classic motif in soothing palette of gold, brown and green. It will house three massage or skincare rooms, four pedicure stations, and three manicure stations.
Grove Spa at University Plaza Hotel and Convention Center will offer signature services of the brand, which consist of massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, makeup services and relaxation.
The construction of the spa forms part of the ongoing renovation of the hotel. It is scheduled to open in September 2012.
