The project, which commenced in 2010, has been designed by Davis Kane Architects, PA of Raleigh and developed by Hardin Construction. It involved overhaul of the facility and expansion of a pair of present buildings to allow creation of campus facilities including group offices, break room, conference and meeting areas, and service garage spaces like repair and equipment wash bays.
The facility now imbibes a host of eco-friendly elements. It has been equipped with solar panels which help in controlling the building’s indoor climate while also meeting its water heating requirements. The facility also comprises an efficient rainwater collection system which recycles the stored water to meet different daily needs like washing vehicles and flushing toilets.
