Considered to be the shipyard’s largest yacht, Vicky will have a steel hull and aluminum alloy superstructure. The yacht will feature a room beam of over 12m and a full load draft in the region of 4m. It is also MCA LY2 compliant.
The 1,323-tonne yacht will feature a pair of 2,447 horse power engines enabling it to attain a top speed of 17 knots with cruising near 15 knots. The yacht would cruise 7,000 nautical miles in range at 12 knots and is reduced to trans-Atlantic 4,000 nautical miles at throttle up to 15 knots. the capacity of the fuel tank is 204,000 LT.
Being built under the hull ID NB54, Vicky is due to be completed by the end of 2012. Proteksan & Turquoise has already launched three large luxury motor yachts in 2011, ranging from more than 50m to 70m.
