The revamped terminal will have new displays that will showcase the area’s unique history and culture. Apart from displays, panels and artwork, the terminal will feature new concepts that will reflect Yukon lifestyle, culture, heritage, tradition and history.
Passengers will be able to learn more about local businesses, arts and culture, festivals and events, museums and the distinct identities of Yukon First Nations.
The project is funded by CanNor’s Strategic Investments in Northern Economic Development (SINED) programme. The program focuses on long-term economic growth, economic diversification and capacity building in all three territories.
