Sprawling over six-acres, the Century Plaza project involves redevelopment of 1.5 million square feet of mixed-use development. It will consist of renovation of an existing hotel to create 394 rooms and suites, and 63 residences; development of two, new 46-storey residential towers; and about 100,000-square-feet retail plaza with shops and restaurants.
The two residential towers have been designed by Pei Cobb Freed. More than two acres of space will be open space, featuring fountains and courtyards.
Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel is located at the intersection of Avenue of the Stars and Constellation Boulevard in Century City. Construction on the scheme is scheduled to commence in 2014.
