“With the launch of our much anticipated 25 degree lens offering – we are now able to address applications needing a more direct focus of light, including spot lighting of merchandise for retail stores, track lighting, and numerous other spot / accent lighting applications,” said Mike Bauer, president and CEO of Nexxus Lighting.

Array LED replacement lamps can reduce energy consumption by over 80% over incandescent lamps, and can save as much as 25% on energy, compared to other compact fluorescent (CFL) lamps. In addition, Array LED lamps last over 50,000 hours, as compared to only 1,000 to 2,000 hours for incandescent, and 6,000 to 10,000 hours for CFL lamps. Unlike CFL lamps, Array LED lamps do not contain mercury or lead and are RoHS compliant.

The Array PAR30 and Par 16 lighting is equivalent up to a 50 watt incandescent bulb, but uses up to 80% less energy and lasts up to 25 times longer, while MR16 is equivalent up to a 35 watt halogen bulb. The PAR30 lamps are Edison- based, and can be used with standard screw sockets for interior applications. Worldwide patent pending Selective Heat Sink Technology (SHS) ensures reliable operation for 50,000 hours.

The Array LED PAR30 offers a choice of beam angles, and is available in cool white (6,500K), natural white (5,000K), and warm white (3,000K) color temperatures. Unlike many compact fluorescent bulbs that require a warm up period, the Array PAR30 is instant, and is fully dimmable on any standard dimmer.

The lamps poses to emerge thermally cool and lightweight compared to other competitive offerings. The Array LED lamp technology comes as a solution for restaurants, hotels and retailers across North America, Europe, Australia, and countries around the world, as a way to save on energy and maintenance costs, while also being environmentally responsible through the reduction of carbon and mercury emissions.
