Akron Fulton International Airport in Summit County, Cincinnati West Airport in Hamilton County, Warren County Airport, Fairfield County Airport,, and Monroe County Airport have received funds.

Akron Fulton International Airport owned by the city of Akron has received $902,500 to be used for rehabilitating a taxiway. This is intended to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement. Akron Fulton International Airport covers an area of 1,171 acres which contains two asphalt paved runways.

Cincinnati West Airport has received $60,000 to install an automated weather observing system and also will rehabilitate a runway. Warren County Airport located in the central business district of Lebanon has received $101,307. The fund will be used to acquire more land to further develop the airport in Lebanon.

Fairfield County Airport will use the earmarked $90,000 to design the relocation of an existing obstruction on a runway, allowing better approaches to the airport in Lancaster. The airport covers an area of 130 acres which contains one runway. Monroe County Airport will use the approved $263,085 to rehabilitate its taxiway and its apron. The apron facilities have not been repaired in more than 20 years.
