The 250-room Emerald Palace Kempinski is a five-star resort spread across an area of 100,000 square meters located on the crescent of Palm Jumeirah. The two, seven-storey buildings of the hotel are designed like a European palace, featuring intricate Arabic details and surrounded by landscaped gardens.

The hotel will offer extra large guest rooms with an area of more than 55 square meters. Each room will feature a balcony or terrace, overlooking the Gulf. Services at the hotel include a dedicated concierge, free valet parking, 24-hour housekeeping and room service, a children’s day care centre, business centre, state-of-the-art spa with indoor pool and high-tech gymnasium.

The hotel will also feature a snooker room and cinema, an international shopping arcade, several themed restaurants and bars, including a rooftop bar and access to the private beach stretching more than 500 metres. Additionally, a 600 square metre ballroom with window fronts overlooking gardens will be located inside the hotel, which can accommodate meetings/conferences, as well as weddings and other private celebrations.

The delay in the opening of the hotel has been attributed to the competition from other hotels on Palm Jumeirah.
