The property will be developed by Steven Pozycki’s SJP Properties under a joint venture with Matrix Development Group. The Japanese electronics giant plans to relocate its existing North American headquarters from Secaucus into the new facility. The building will span 338,000 square feet covering 12 floors. The firm will occupy 10 floors of the building.
Plans are on to imbibe some of Panasonic’s technologies into the new property such as solar power as well as energy management. The building will sport an interactive technology centre and showroom in the lobby.
The company is expected to shift to the building by August 2013.
