Designed by Christian de Portzamparc, a French architect, the 118 room hotel has been built on the site of the famous Theatre de l’empire. Combining an ultra-modern design with the best of the Renaissance brand experience, the signature wavy, all-glass exterior of the hotel pays homage to the historic architecture on the Avenue Wagram.
The guest rooms and 22 suites have VoIP telephones, wired and Wireless Internet access, high-definition, LCD televisions and digital connectivity panels, allowing guests to connect their laptops, camcorders, digital cameras, video games and more. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the building.
The hotel houses Makassar Lounge & Restaurant that blends French Provence bistro flavors with authentic Indonesian dishes, retail shops that sell modern home furnishings on the ground floor, a 70 square meters fitness center and a business center open 24 hours a day, 150 square meters of space for social events and conferences that can be divided into two sections or five breakout rooms in varying configurations.
A 200 square meters terrace overlooking gardens and the event venue Salle Wagram is available for cocktails and coffee breaks. The hotel has direct access to the restored banquet and event venue Salle Wagram.
The opening rates of the hotel start at EUR289 ($402 approx.) per night.
