The Park Inn by Radisson Kigali is centrally located in the Nyarugenge district of the city centre, which is less than 12km west of the International Airport, Rwanda’s primary point of entry.

The upper midscale Park Inn by Radisson Kigali features 161 guestrooms, and is Carlson Rezidor’s second hotel project in Kigali.

Besides 161 guestrooms, the hotel features a 225m² all-day dining restaurant, a 80m² lobby bar, and a club lounge.

It also features an outdoor swimming pool with a 110m² pool bar and terrace, and 500m² meeting and conference facilities.

Apart from that the property also includes a gym, spa, hair salon, and nightclub.

The Park Inn by Radisson will open in the third quarter of 2014 and will be owned by The Hotel Vision Limited.

Africa is a key development market for the group and comprises 50 hotels with a total of 11,000 rooms, said Wolfgang M. Neumann, president and CEO of the Rezidor Hotel Group.

Hotel Vision Limited has partnered with Carlson Rezidor and Park Inn by Radisson brand to make the Park Inn by Radisson in Kigali the hotel of choice in the mid-market category in Kigali, said Joseph Mugisha, chairman of Hotel Vision Limited.

Kigali is Rwanda’s most populated city with more than one million inhabitants and is also the country’s most important business and convention destination.
