The customer is Stockhome Fastighetsförvaltning AB, which is owned by the City of Stockholm and they are responsible for managing and developing arenas in the Globe area.
Stockholm Arena will be used for football, bandy, concerts, equestrian, exhibitions, corporate meetings and other major events. The arena will meet the FIFA and UEFA requirements for international matches.
The new sports and events arena will have a unique design with retractable roof. Work will commence in early 2010 and the facility is scheduled to be ready in late 2012.
