Scope of work under phase II of the renovation includes improving the main entrance, replacing the ticket booth on the south entrance to the stadium, replacing press box windows and improving parking area along Stadium Drive.
The entryway will be tweaked with new bricks adding little more room to make the entrance more accommodating for parents. The windows in the press box will be replaced to ensure better safety and ease out maintenance. The plans include adding more seating place in the visitors’ side.
In 2010, the school had approved a $2 million bid from Civicon Contractors for the installation of artificial turf at the football field, along with a new rubberized eight-lane track. The project also included re-designing the stadium’s improper drainage system, improvements to the visitor’s-side bleachers, and installation of new stadium lighting.
