Conceptualised by Filippo Protasoni, Sand, Fire and Air installation has been created for the 30th anniversary of Prandina. The installation depicts the story of glass formed from its material origin sand. The glass grains put the focus on the products’ design from its genesis through the whole manufacturing process.

The installation layout has a twofold meaning – emotional and narrative. It states the glass design as the main topic unveiling the secrets and peculiarities of the traditional and contemporary processing techniques. This tale develops along a path meeting various experiences and experiments, which confirms the past, present and future of Prandina to this material.

Triennale di Milano will be held from 9-14 April in Milan, Italy.
