A cultural mash-up between Northern grit and a Nordic team-led approach, the built-environment specialists worked with The Sheila Bird Group to bring their vision to life. Atul Bansal and his team carved the space up in an imaginative way using four different colour hexagons from Tarkett’s iD Mixonomi modular vinyl tile flooring collection.

Offset against an industrious black and steel backdrop and tactile Scandi wood textures, the muted flooring tiles create a statement feature across the room and separate the entrance and kitchen areas from the open plan office.
Although a relatively small space, it’s one of discovery and geometry. Regardless of where you enter, you have to move around for all to be revealed with an unexpected configuration that’s achieved using diagonal lines, hexagonal flooring and lush greenery.
