The use of light oak cabinets with polished Giallo Veneziana granite brings the country kitchen up date in a private individual’s house . The island unit has been designed to incorporate storage space and a breakfast bar, whilst the lines of the worktop have been kept deliberately simple and a granite upstand has been added. Kale Travertine tiles in an antiqued finish have been used on the floor to complement the light wood and the beige tones of the granite.
The sink has been inset and has a grooved drainer with the worktop and cabinets built slightly wider at this point to accommodate its generous size.
A splash back in the same granite has been added behind the inset hob and fills the space between the hob and the cooker hood.
