SAS International worked closely with architects Henry J Lyons on this project. Conor MacCabe, Project Director comments: “The reasons for specifying SAS International System 330 for this project were its appearance, flexibility, the quality of the ceiling system and its ability to align with the construction programme. The ability to deliver the product for a quick fit-out programme was an advantage to us. The System 330 allowed the contractor to install the ceiling in two phases. The central channel was installed initially, providing a zone to allow partitions to be fixed in parallel with the above ceiling services installation, and this allowed the tiles to be installed closer to completion.”
SAS System 330 is a lay-in metal ceiling tile system that provides functionality and outstanding performance for a range of cost effective design options. The practical nature of its structure allows ease of construction and maintenance.
Supported from a C-Profile suspension grid, 1200mm x 300mm tiles were specified for the project to meet the building module size.
System 330 can be designed to fit any building grid size as tiles are available in square, rectangular, mega panels, curved and trapezoidal form to meet individual project requirements.
The ceiling systems were installed on all floors of the seven storey building. The result was a modern ceiling system offering smooth clean lines and a sophisticated yet practical finish.
