Sponsored by ‘Edge’, an independent education foundation dedicated to raising the status of practical and vocational training, the new Academy’s state-of-the-art building will have an anticipated capacity of 1300 students between the ages of 11 and 18.

Wernick won the site office contract with their unique AVflex vandal-resistant modular system which offers a high level of security together with a bespoke internal room layout and fit out. Large areas of the AVflex building are open-plan with Category 2 lighting and IT/telephone dado trunking included in the hire package. The AVflex site office includes a reception area, offices and kitchen on the first floor and a canteen, toilets, drying room and further offices on the ground floor.
