Mark Puetz, the company spokesman, was reported stating that demolition is expected to be complete by January, and construction of the new stadium is slated to complete by early September 2010.
Geoff Gross, the activities director of Mitchell School Board, was reported stating that the board expects to host the first home football game of the 2010 season against Brookings on September 3, 2010. He however adds that if the stadium is not completed by then, Brookings will host the game.
The stadium is being financed through bonds that will be repaid over 15 years, which brings the total cost of the project to $2.9 million.
