The $1.5 million stadium renovation project will be completed in three phases. The first phase will create a state-of-the-art synthetic turf field. Honouring all of the Quincy University national championship teams, phase two will add a new entrance to the field, named as the walk of champions. The final phase will include a press box, concession stand, conference space, and team film room.

The stadium will be named as the Legends Stadium and the soccer field will be named as Mackenzie field, recognising university’s men’s soccer coach Jack Mackenzie who won more 516 games and nine NAIA national championships during 43 years at the school.

The project is named as the Legends Stadium to honour the players, coaches, sports writers, journalists and fans that graced the community with their sportsmanship, character and athletic performance over the years.
