Hackney Homes is an arms length management organisation (ALMO) established in 2006 as a non-profit company, 100% owned by the London Borough of Hackney. Its objective is to improve thousands of homes under the governments Decent Homes Initiative.
Remmers have been selected by Hackney Homes and their construction partners to provide their technically advanced and innovative products for the refurbishment of the full range of façade surfaces. This includes not only Remmers cost effective concrete repair and protection systems, but also their unique brickwork, render, timber and mixed façade restoration systems, plus fast curing balcony deck and waterproofing treatments.
There were several key factors for selecting Remmers to take over and assist Hackney Homes as partners to develop new levels of excellence including their experienced Technical Support Team, innovative products providing better value; plus competitive pricing and Remmers being a full range materials supplier for all types of façade refurbishment.
This new partnership with Remmers in the team will also improve supply chain co-ordination and make the repair and maintenance options easier to co-ordinate, control and measure on site in conjunction with the Constructor partners appointed by Hackney Homes.
Overall Hackney will be obtaining best value and cost performance, whilst bringing their tenants homes and associated structures up to and above Decent Homes Standards.
