The renovation project will incorporate both literal and abstract elements of the Chumash tribe’s rich history. All the 106 rooms and luxury suites of the hotel are undergoing renovation, and will feature new fixtures, furnishings, carpet, drapes and high-tech upgrades including a 40-inch high definition TV, post completion.
The hotel and spa are closed for the renovation work and are scheduled to reopen on 20 December 2012. The renovation will continue through mid-December 2012.
The Chumash Casino Resort Hotel is owned by the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians.
