After renovations, the theater will feature a free-standing Zaffiro’s Italian restaurant, a cocktail lounge and remodeled auditoriums.
Bruce J. Olson, president of Marcus Theatres said that patrons will be greeted by a new porte cochere entry and a drop-off area. The interior of the theater will feature a brand-new open lobby area including a seating area surrounding a baby grand piano.
Olson also said that renovations will include a re-designed 70-foot-wide UltraScreen concept featuring an upper-level VIP reserved seating section for age groups of 21 and above, along with a mezzanine level featuring a cocktail lounge.
Work also involves expanding the food and beverage areas at the concession stand, with a hot zone concept. The theatre’s 11 auditoriums will be updated with wide, comfortable memory-foam cushion seats with reclining backrests.
Renovations are scheduled for completion in May.
