THE LONDON FESTIVAL OF ARCHITECTURE (LFA) returns for the world’s largest annual architecture festival, taking place throughout June 2025. With a city-wide programme of events, exhibitions, installations and discussions, LFA2025 will celebrate architecture’s role in shaping London while exploring this year’s theme: ‘Voices’. This year, LFA will explore how to move beyond tokenistic engagement, ensuring underrepresented voices are not just heard but actively shape our cities. Through events, installations and dialogues, LFA2025 will connect lived experiences in a collective effort to renew and reconnect our shared spaces.
Guided by a distinguished Curation Panel – including Dhruv Gulabchande, Amy Frearson, Chetna Kapacee, Shahed Saleem, Satu Streatfield, and Yemí Aládérun – the festival will provide a platform for diverse perspectives that shape the built environment.
Each year, LFA highlights key areas of the city through its Destinations and Neighbourhoods programme. This initiative brings together architects, local organisations and communities to create place-based events and activations that respond to their surroundings. The 2025 Destinations include Barnet, City of London, Fitzrovia, and Hounslow, while the 2025 Neighbourhoods feature Fleet Street Quarter, London Cancer Hub, Sutton, Wood Green and Alexandra Palace. Both programmes will showcase a mix of innovative design approaches, from large-scale urban interventions to community-led projects, demonstrating the power of architecture to shape vibrant, inclusive spaces.
