According to Proulx’s owner and lead designer Marc Desplaines, the range began with an attempt to design a single work desk. However, it ended up as a 34-piece collection of office furniture types including desks, file pedestals, credenzas, bookcases, storage units, and a conference table.
The designers took inspiration from Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs women’s fashion handbags. This new line of furniture has been designed in such a way that it can be configured to fit a variety of spaces from small apartments to large corner offices. It is also eco-friendly in that it can easily be reused and reconfigured.
