
Resonate has announced the appointment of Simon Jordan FRSA to the role of non-exec director.
Jordan is a creative strategist, founder and special advisor with a 30-year career spanning senior and board-level roles across advertising, design, architecture and urbanism. He has led initiatives for world-class brands, organisations and institutions, shaping places and spaces for the communities they serve.
In 2001, Jordan co-founded interdisciplinary design and architecture studio Jump Studios, collaborating with clients such as Nike, Google, O2, the Ministry of Sound, Science Museum, Adidas, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Rapha. He oversaw Jump’s acquisition by global sport and entertainment design firm Populous in 2015, where the team helped realise major public venues including Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Co-Op Live, and the Etihad Campus for City Football Group.
Since exiting Populous in 2022, Jordan has launched WeMakeProgress (WMP), a consultancy that informs design through cultural insights and applied narrative thinking. Collaborating with a design anthropologist and a cultural strategist, the team helps venue owners and developers define audiences, map-user journeys, and articulate the narrative DNA of place. He also acts as a special advisor to leadership teams at design-led businesses.
