Designed by Richard Hywel Evans of Studio RHE, the specialists in holiday resort design, the new hotel will be hailed as Europe’s first rotating hotel. Set in an infinity edged swimming lake, he hotel offers views of Adriatic Sea, Roman remains of a Diocletian fish farm and dramatic countryside.

The three-story building is designed to be a 61 meter diameter, very slow moving continuous turntable, rotating 1.3 times per day. The structure will be constructed of steel in sections at the huge Split shipyards, which are located directly opposite to the Šolta Island.

The entrance of the building located at the lower ground level does not rotate. The center hub of the building featuring reception, circulation stairs and lifts is also designed to be non-rotating.

The resort features a new build marina and resort including the hotel, guest pavilions and villas. The new 170 berth marina will be accompanied by a performance stage, yacht club and marine village along the water’s edge. The project spans across the water with villas facing the marina from across the water.

Guest pavilions are made from the surrounding grove slate walls. They are designed to create private spaces for guests, with glass fronted pavilions and swimming pools topped with reflective aluminum wings.
