Located at 440 N Hiawatha Drive in Canton, the new facility of the Sanford Health is a former hospital, which will undergo an extensive renovation and construction program, which will enable the company to bring it in-line with its health offering standards.
The scope of work involves construction of approximately 11,000 square feet extension to the existing hospital, renovation of 17,630 square feet of the facility’s current space, and finishing updates on 8,000 square feet of existing space.
The new facility will offer larger physical therapy and rehab service areas, centralised scheduling and registration, increased access to outpatient and same-day services, improved lab services, and foster easy locomotion throughout.
The $6.5 million project is being funded by means of a donation from the Canton-Inwood Area Health Foundation.
