The hotel emerges as the first international deluxe five-star hotel to be opened in Songdo. Featuring a completely smoke-free environment, the hotel will be a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rated hotel in Korea.
Sheraton will also introduce Link@Sheraton for the first time in Korea. The Link functions as the center of Sheraton hotel’s lobby, and is designed to be a destination for business or leisure meetings. The Link also provides Internet services, research on local attractions, and even print boarding passes.
The Sheraton Incheon Hotel will also include the Sheraton Fitness facility that will remain open 24 hours and also offers themed workout programs designed by Core Performance.
The interior design of the Sheraton Incheon Hotel is based upon the theme ‘Return to Utopia’. It blends the Sheraton design with traditional Korean patterns and graphics, and the word Songdo that means a ‘pine tree island’.
The hotel includes 319 non-smoking guest rooms offering Sheraton amenities, including the signature Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed with its mattress, duvet and Sheraton Coffee Maker. High ceilings and large windows accentuate the guest rooms, which also features a 32 inch LCD TV, a work desk and offers WiFi and broadband access. The bathrooms include separate bathtubs and rain showers.
The hotel features the Club Lounge on the second floor, while it also includes four restaurants and two bars.
