The site will be developed to meet the need for new housing, educational, and retail facilities in Brent while respecting its historic cultural ties to the Orient and Far East.
To create a vibrant new mixed-use community, the 74,000 square metre scheme will integrate an 80,000 square feet Morrisons foodstore and over 50,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. It will also increase the overall number of parking spaces to provide a total of 590 spaces for retail, residential, and school use.
Apart from that the scheme will also include 183 private residential units; new landscaped public spaces; and a new two-form, 420-pupil entry primary school, with nursery provision.
Featuring a contemporary architectural frontage and retail design, the scheme is scheduled to complete by 2015.
