Share will feature an outdoor entrance to the pedestrian mall as well as an indoor entrance from the hotel, and is expected to be completed by mid-July, says Sheraton general manager Bently Kriewald.
The new introduction is part of the $11 million renovation project of the hotel. The renovation will give guest rooms on the ninth floor a complete redesign from wall coverings to bathrooms.
Sheraton Hotels & Resorts operates a leading chain of upscale hotels with about 400 locations in some 70 countries. In 2008, the hotel announced plans for a major upgrade, including spending $1.3 billion in renovations, $400 million in key brand initiatives, and $2 billion in new hotel openings.
