MLP is expected to house more than 100,000 marine animals of over 800 species, including the Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins in more than 60 million litres of water.
The oceanarium will feature two ticketed areas, like the Adventure Cove Waterpark and the Southeast Asia Aquarium, which will be the world’s biggest aquarium.
The much anticipated Adventure Cove Waterpark will feature Southeast Asia’s first hydromagnetic water coaster ride in 620-metre long Adventure River. To provide a real marine life experience, it will feature a rainbow reef where guests can snorkel among fishes. The Rainbow Reef goes as deep as 2.9 metres.
The oceanarium also features the Southeast Asia Aquarium, where visitors can watch over 100,000 aquatic creatures, including manta rays and hammerhead sharks, through the world’s largest viewing panel.
The Marine Life Park is the last of the attractions to open at Resorts World Sentosa, which offers various lifestyle amenities, including six hotels, a convention centre, a maritime museum, spa and the Universal Studios theme park. RWS opened in January 2010.
